Global Reasoning

The Global Reasoning area is a forum. It's a forum for solutions and issues that give us better understanding, and more tolerance of each other. (Obviously, those things are phrased in an unusual way. That's intentionally okay.)

The forum wants participants from all over the globe. In fact, it is a rule, that if you know an educated, decent person, you must encourage that individual if he/she will participate. (No, we really can't enforce that particular rule. We're aware of that.)

As this is a site constructed primarily for writers who want to develop their skills, we encourage people to write what they mean, very well. We hope to see people having discussion that is of their experiences, and not merely what the media reports to us, as being their experiences.

A wish is that the forum, Global Reasoning, will make us all more informed about places and people where we as individuals are not, and help us learn what we agree upon, and why we disagree upon what we disagree upon. A wish is that we write well. A wish is that we like each other.

You are a kind gentle man, Ehsan. I like you. Please do not be offended. My only wish is for a balanced board for writers. Hopefully, the sounds of the other forums will rise to the occasion....However, if the Voice becomes primarily a board of politics and reasoning...then, so be it. All is well.

I have never planned for or attempted to motivate the Voice to be a political platform it will not be. Global Reasoning is a place to discus the world and its issues, but unfortunately the world is based on politics. There has been a lot of interest in the Global Reasoning section as the number of views and responses indicate.

The real question here is how to attract more writers to participate in the forum.
Tough question, but I do not think the Global Reasoning is alienating writers from using other sections of the forum.

On another deliberation by having a section just for potential political commentary prevents the whole forum from becoming a stomping ground for everyone with an opinion on politics. We have been lucky that we have not been speared like some other sites with an opinion. I am curious, how many new people have found the voice through the Global Reasoning section, just because of the quantity of text that may match a search string.

I need to compile a list of possible search strings that may be tried by surfers to find a sight like this.

This below string is what is registered with the search engines and could use some updating.

--------------------------------

"keywords"submit writings, discuss poetry, discussion forums, poems, poets, traditional verses,
literature, stories, novel serializations, romantic, friendship, childrens, read, readers, post, write, new writers, teen
authors
">

-------------------------------
Any suggestions.

Global Reasoning

Global reasoning is the only resort
Where men take shelter and feel
As if sitting under the shade
Of a lush green tree and discuss
With others the problems and difficulties
Being faced by them and with a collective
And concerted effort find their solution
But global reasoning is lost
In the abracadabra of politics
And the politician always feel joy
In the sufferings of humanity
To kill the innocent masses
Is their favourite pastime
The common and simple diction
Is polluted by their duality
And every effort is made
To obscure a clear meaning of things
The politiciians have been playing
The role of the victim, the victimising
And the justice, making every false thing
Look true and real, they have to do so
Because that is their life.

Is Security an Illusion?

I had a vision last night when I found myself
Transported into an island
The people there were so simple in their act,
So pure in their hearts and so clear
In their thoughts and words that they did not have
Any serious problems before them
They worked together in the fields
Every day they reaped something
And every day they sowed something
Their produce was enough for them
They had the similar and simple houses to live in
They did not know any kind of intrigues
They were far from hyprcrisy, greed and vanity
It seemed they were living in paradise
They did not have any kind of fear
So they felt secure all the time
When I requested them to live with them
They were all happy and I rejoiced
But soon my eyes opened and I
Found my self falling from my bed.

Could We Ever Rebuild the Tower of Babal?
Time is gone by when man could dream of
Building the Tower of Babl and vision
What could be made by man of manifest
His great aspirations in the form of monuments
Now there is no dream of making something
Good and aesthetic, man is busy
In thinking all the time how can he
Destroy his fellowbeings within the minimum
Space of time and involving minimum number
Of human beings
The machines are made busy to go on thinking
How and what new methods can be invented
To obliterate the creature called man
This act of devastation is carried on to
The beautiful blue sky and the shining moon
Man is now dreaming to sea the monuments
Raised in the memory of his destructive
And devastating accomplishments
And he is careful to reckon that no man is left
On this earth to see except those
Who would shift to the space and rejoice
How succesfully have they achieved
What they dremed of, the destruction of humanity..

As the World Gets Smaller Does The Individual Get Bigger

The individual has been set aside
By the worshippers of god mammon
A common man is treated no more
Than a false coin, useless, worthless
Yet they must keep in mind
That this individual is the basic unit
In all the shaping of the world big or small
And when the individual is ignored
The wrath of God is invited
Then there come all of a sudden
The Psonamis, the earthquakes
And many other such like calamities
That are let loose by the ferocious dragon
Of Nature and man is forced to write an epic
"Justifying the ways of God to Man"

On Saying Please

"Please," what a wonderful word this is!
That does not hurt anybody's feelings
And gives us a sense of human dignity
And wins for us a mutual respect.
If you say it just as a fomality
Even then it works on others
And makes them to think
There is no need to be angry
But if you say it from the depth of your heart
It can win for you, an ever lasting respect
A love that would spread
From man to man and make
This world full of fragrance

Hello Linda, thanks for your comments. There is nothing for me to be offended. Global Reasoning is supposed to have open minded people to make positive criticism and receive positive criticism. I am, however, unable to understand how the Writers Voice has become weaker in other wings because of it. I shall be thankful to you to respond to this question.
