Final poem:
Darkness fades with the moons light;
It's time for me to rewrite
All the lines I wrote today,
Letting my pen, show me the way
I sink into a warmth
From the slowly rising Sun
And the rhythm beats within me
As an ever-maddening drum
And then I can hear a flute.
The sun is higher and higher,
This morning seems to be nice and cute,
Everything seems simpler and better…
The music flows into full swing
And I find my heart begins to sing,
In this new day, and this new light
Life begins to seem so bright
